About the Opportunity
The Royal Sydney Golf Club has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven Team Leader Food & Beverage Operations to join its welcoming team in the stunning Rose Bay!
The main function of this newly created role will be to supervise the food and beverage team through the delivery of high standard service to all members and their guests in the dining and function areas.
More specifically, your core responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to house management team;
- Leading and driving the food and beverage team to exceed customer expectations;
- Training and developing staff, creating a culture of excellence; and
- Taking on the role of Supervisor on Duty when required.
The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications, such as accredited Hospitality Training and will demonstrate in depth experience in the organisation and general operational requirements of the functions/bar/restaurant/reception areas, as well as a capability to train and develop staff as required to ensure consistency of customer service standards.
In addition, you will have a willingness to work to meet the operational needs of the business through flexible work practices and be able to provide a flexible and hands on approach and support to all other senior members of staff as an integral part of the house team.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communications skills are required as you will work closely with the house team to achieve a standard of excellence.
