About the Opportunity
TriCare is offering an excellent management opportunity for a full-time Manager to join their established team at the Compton Gardens Retirement Village, located in Aspley.
Within this challenging, hands-on role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Village's services and ensuring the Village's operational strategies are put into practice. This is a pivotal role, in which you will facilitate positive and effective communication between residents and TriCare.
Some of your more specific day to day duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing operating budgets and reviewing of Profit and Loss statements;
- Completion and supervision of onsite administrative tasks;
- Liaising closely with the Sales & Marketing coordinator on marketing strategies for the village;
- Managing the recruitment, induction, training and supervision of staff;
- Ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service to residents at all times; and
- Ensuring a high standard is maintained in areas of meal service, maintenance and general housekeeping.
The ideal person for this position will have a sound knowledge of the Retirement Industry, coupled with at least three years experience in a similar managerial role.
You will have excellent leadership skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team, and will be able to communicate effectively with residents, family and staff. Your conceptual and critical thinking skills will be used often, as will your commitment to continuous quality improvement. A basic understanding of finance/budgeting and human resource principles are also required.
TriCare is seeking a flexible and enthusiastic individual, who is able to make key decisions, while maintaining a hands on approach to aspects of administrative procedures. You will have excellent time and people management skills combined with a commitment to the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Intermediate computer skills across the MS Office suite, as well as a current First Aid and CPR Certificate are essential.
