About the Opportunity

Due to ongoing growth, ABnote NZ has a fantastic opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join their team in Auckland.

This is a pivotal role in which you will be responsible for managing the activities of ABnote NZ as they relate to the provision of card services to the company's financial card clients.

You will manage the relationships with and requirements of some of ABnote's largest clients, including selling and delivering financial debit and credit card products, regularly visiting financial banking clients, and coordinating efforts and people internally to ensure that the client's needs are met.

Reporting to the Sales Manager Banking NZ, some of your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Managing banking clients requirements;
  • Debit and Credit card orders from order placement through to delivery;
  • Assisting clients with design, print, production and delivery requirements;
  • Coordinating ABnote/Client projects with regards to new products;
  • Conducting regular business reviews with key customers including monthly performance meetings, non conformance reporting, and other reviews as required; and
  • Championing client's requirements within the ABnote business and operations, including new business initiatives.

This varied role requires an experienced Account Manager, with strong people skills and a demonstrated affinity for relationship management. Customer contact will be in person and via phone and email, so candidates must have solid written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate would have experience in the financial sector, and/or knowledge of smart card technology.

This role will suit a candidate with good organisational skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to prioritise in a busy environment. In addition, you will have the aptitude to grow into a Technical or Project Management direction.
